We have moved, but to a different location than originally planned!  Bay City Ballet is now located at the Missouri Showrooms, on 1715 S Missouri Ave, Largo, FL. 

The move went smoothly, and we are offering classes at the new location.  Drop by to check out our new space!

Tampa Dancenter is moving.  They will be just down the street from their current location, to the intersection of 66th street and Ulmerton.  All scheduled summer classes will be maintained, though there may be minor changes in the schedule.  Classes are scheduled to remain at the Abilities building until June 15th, and will be at the new location after June 15th.  Along with the move, Tampa Dancenter will be officially changing their name, to Bay City Ballet.

Is your child interested in attending dance camp this summer?  We are considering offering a one-week day camp, where children can dance and do other fun and creative activities.  If there is sufficient interest, we will offer our dance camp for one week in either July or August.  Please let Ms. Leslie know right away if this is something you think you'd be interested in.  You can email danceofthephoenix@yahoo.com to ask questions or express interest.

We are also in the process of forming our summer schedule.  If you are interested in taking dance classes over the summer, please let Ms. Leslie know what classes you would be interested in.  We will not be offering summer classes unless there is sufficient interest, so let us know right away.

donations for Haitian children

Ms. Leslie will be volunteering to teach dance to impoverished students in Haiti this summer.  We are collecting donations of dance shoes and dance wear for the Haitian children. 

 We need dance shoes for all styles of dance- including ballet, hip hop, jazz, and tap- in sizes for children aged 3-17.  If you have any dance shoes or clothing you have outgrown, please consider donating it.  There is a donation bin in the lobby of Tampa Dancenter where you may leave your donations.

Welcome to our site.  Tampa Dancenter will be holding an open house on Saturday, August 11th, at 3 P.M.  There will be refreshments and live performances by students.  You will have the opportunity to meet our staff, and to register for fall classes.  Hope to see you there!
